Chapter 6 in Rethinking the Academic Experience, 2025, pp 76-96 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
This chapter focuses on three themes of continuing and contemporary relevance to research and higher education: peer review, tribes and territories and decolonisation. In common with many of the themes discussed elsewhere in this book, these have resonances beyond research; for example, in teaching and learning, and administration, management and leadership. They are, though, of core relevance to research.
