Abstract: In a constantly evolving global context where sustainability has become a major issue, social life cycle analysis is emerging as an essential tool for assessing the social impacts of products and processes. Thus, the importance of safe and healthy living conditions for local populations in the sustainability of organizations’ operations is highlighted. It is now recognized that the well-being of local communities is closely linked to the success and sustainability of organizations. Safe and healthy conditions help improve stakeholders’ quality of life and promote positive relationships with the community, thereby strengthening the reputation and sustainability of operations. Integrating social life cycle analysis into organizational decision-making processes allows companies to identify opportunities for improvement in social sustainability, considering aspects such as health, safety, relationships with stakeholders, and community engagement. To ensure safe and healthy living conditions, organizations must collaborate with communities, comply with current standards and regulations, and adopt a continuous approach to improving social performance.
