Abstract: Child labor represents one of the 11 impact subcategories linked to the stakeholder category Worker. The assessment of the subcategory “child labor” aims to verify the existence of child labor within an organization (as defined in the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions), as well as to identify the nature of child labor. Furthermore, the evaluation includes the verification of the existence or otherwise of the conditions for the performance of work activities by minors and the existence of prevention implemented by the organization. Child labor can take different forms; the priority is to eliminate the worst forms that reduce children into slavery, remove them from their families, expose them to severe risks and diseases and/or leave them to themselves on the streets of cities at an early age. Hazardous child labor or hazardous work is work that, by its nature or the circumstances in which it is carried out, is likely to harm children's health, safety, or morals.
