Chapter 6 in Public Sector Technology Transfer, 2024, pp 98-113 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
Chapter 6 points out that not all federally funded technologies emanate from the research conducted in federal laboratories or even funded by the laboratory’s host agencies. Institution and legislative backgrounds are presented on the structure and activities of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program.
