Teaching based on a multi-paradigmatic approach
.
Chapter 13 in On the Methodology of Financial Economics, 2023, pp 258-269 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
The purpose of this chapter is to emphasize the advantage of gaining financial education with a multi-paradigmatic orientation, i.e., within a liberal arts educational context. In general, a liberal arts education is based on a multi-paradigmatic approach. This chapter shows that an investment in a liberal arts education can be regarded as a “real option,” and that a liberal arts education becomes more valuable in a changing, uncertain world.
