Abstract: This chapter offers the reader an intersectional anti-racist pedagogical route map for learning racial literacy. The chapter is designed to enable social and youth workers to grasp the complexity of racism's manifestations as they remain embedded and obfuscated in British political life. The chapter sets out the current contextual frame in Britain, identifying aspects of racism's deep structural and cultural presence. It tasks those in the social and youth work professions to explore their own journeys with intersecting forces of oppression as a necessary pathway to become racially literate professionals. Our clients deserve this as a bare minimum.
