Abstract: This chapter provides a roadmap for community economic developers undertaking a journey to economic and social transformation. This map comprises all of the concepts identified, and elaborated upon, in this book. It takes the form of a two-tiered community economic development ecosystem that blends an entrepreneurial ecosystem and a social entrepreneurship ecosystem. The chapter discusses the purpose of such an ecosystem, its elements and structure, its bonding and bridging social capital, and its governance, offering examples throughout.
