Chapter 12 in How to Keep Your Research Project on Track, 2024, pp 89-98 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
In this chapter we consider the complex interactions that can occur when performing case study research. Readjusting instruments to reflect organisational reality and the possibility of publishing the finished work are just two complications. Overall, in case research one has to balance rigidity with fluidity as situations change, too much of either can seriously compromise the research.
