Abstract: Dark side case studies challenge the dominant ‘bright side’ bias in management education by focusing on critical perspectives of organizational practices. They present cases that expose failures, ethical dilemmas and unintended negative consequences within organizations. Originating from the Academy of Management's Critical Management Studies (CMS) Division, these cases aim to stimulate critical thinking, broaden the understanding of management complexities and encourage alternative views on capitalism and corporate behavior.
