Abstract:
Tourism and aviation hold a fundamental and long-standing relationship with one another. This chapter explores this relationship using several lenses current to the immediate years after the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Explored are issues relating to regulation, climate and sustainability, airline business models, new technologies in airframes and engines and airline-related passenger experiences.
