Chapter 25 in Cases in Organization Development and Change, 2026, pp 242-247 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
Major Focus of the Case: Good leaders make innovative thinking possible. They value and create opportunities for innovation and support innovative ways of doing things. This case is about innovative ways to build culture that can accelerate the culture-building and change process and change a toxic culture to a culture with trust in leadership, teamwork throughout the organization, and a sense of fun, enthusiasm, and unity during times of uncertainty. The message behind the case is not the need to do what was done in the case but to encourage innovative thinking in building and changing culture.
