Abstract:
This chapter explores historical entrepreneurial perspectives during crises and analyses their dynamics through financial, economic, political and health-related turbulence. It discusses how global crises redefine the entrepreneurial landscape, affecting markets and employers’ needs. A few drivers of entrepreneurship, such as the perception of opportunities, innovation and creativity, are examined. Furthermore, entrepreneurial success during turbulent times is investigated, showcasing entrepreneurial resilience, adaptability and experience and the impact of institutional arrangements. The chapter argues that entrepreneurship, even in times of uncertainty, can thrive due to its capacity for adaptation and innovation.
