Abstract:
This chapter examines the growing emphasis on inclusiveness and diversity within entrepreneurial ecosystems, positioning them as essential drivers of innovation, economic resilience and social progress. The chapter explores how inclusivity fosters diversity, stressing the value of collaborative environments where diverse perspectives can contribute meaningfully. Policy initiatives are discussed as critical components in creating supportive structures for minority-owned and under-represented businesses. It also stresses the role of fostering an inclusive and diversified entrepreneurial ecosystem. Additionally, the chapter delves into the roles of investors and institutions in fostering inclusive spaces that embrace intersectionality and representation, reinforcing the importance of a supportive, accessible entrepreneurial landscape. It is argued that inclusivity in entrepreneurship is not merely a moral goal but also a strategic advantage.
