Conclusion and future directions for inclusive and responsible entrepreneurship

Jacques Yana Mbena, Susanne Durst and Céline Viala

Chapter 9 in Inclusive and Responsible Entrepreneurship in a Turbulent Era, 2025, pp 84-91 from Edward Elgar Publishing

Abstract: The future of entrepreneurship lies in fostering inclusivity, supporting diversity, and integrating responsible behaviour into business models. Hence, this chapter explores the final insights derived from the previous chapters. The findings are consolidated, while future research and practical directions are discussed. The authors of this book believe that inclusive and responsible entrepreneurship can be nurtured if several aspects, including the use of emerging technologies, alternative models of public–private partnerships, and strategies for expanding financial inclusivity, are further investigated and applied.
