Abstract: This chapter comments on Article 22 of the Sixth Anti-Money Laundering Directive (EU) 2024/1640, setting timeliness requirements for responses by FIUs to requests by competent authorities. It also creates feedback mechanisms to assess the usefulness and effectiveness of information exchanges.
