Abstract: The authors explore different answers—no, maybe, and yes—to whether disability studies needs rehabilitation studies. They conclude that if disability studies aims to support the well-being of disabled people, it should help foster change within rehabilitation studies and practice. This means questioning traditional rehabilitation while also engaging with critical approaches to it within the field.
