Abstract:
Global players increasingly share the belief that multinational enterprises (MNEs) must play a prominent role in collaborative sustainability efforts for the optimal benefits of global sustainability to materialize. There are five key points to successful sustainability collaborations involving MNEs: leveraging complementary strengths; focusing on shared value; adopting a circular economy mindset; embracing innovation and technology; and committing to transparent goals and reporting. Consideration of these five elements offer a holistic roadmap for MNEs to develop strategies for sustainability that complement their international strategies.
