This chapter discusses cross-cultural issues related to employee engagement. It begins by providing a brief overview of culture followed by a discussion of the meaning of employee engagement across cultures, the measurement of employee engagement across cultures, how theories of employee engagement might apply differently across cultures, and ends with a discussion of studying employee engagement across the globe.
