Communications as the source of economic value, economic actions, and economic development
Christian Aspalter
Chapter 11 in Quantum Economics, 2025, pp 88-99 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
This chapter follows the investigative route left by the previous chapter. It hence rolls up the history of utility in the development of economic theory, to have a more informed, close-up look at what early warnings have been ignored, rather than overlooked, all along the way. It also puts right into the investigative spotlight the economically causal role of human communications. This includes all particular life contexts, that is, environmental, cultural, and all other contexts, all at once. The meanings and effects of human communication are always context-dependent, in a cumulative way and in multi-dimensional ways.
