Abstract:
Chapter 4 provides an overview regarding AI risk and impact assessments and mitigation. It introduces different concepts and perspectives on risk of harm and risk of liability, sanctions, and remedies. It suggests different concepts for risk mitigation and insurance. Chapter 4 also provides practical guidance on how to conduct and document assessments for confidential, privileged counseling, and ultimately to defend compliance programs against challenges. It also contains a detailed list of AI-related risks and risk mitigation measures that help the reader with assessing particular systems, processes, and situations.
