Chapter 6 in Determann’s Field Guide to Artificial Intelligence Law, 2026, pp 163-180 from Edward Elgar Publishing
Abstract:
Chapter 6 contains general recommendations on how to draft and customize protocols for AI law compliance. It offers sample protocols that many organizations should find useful: One on acceptable use of generative AI, one on use of AI for coding, one on acquiring and using data for training AI, one on conditions and considerations for internal AI deployment approval, and a sample internal protocol or external statement on minimum requirements for AI suppliers.
