Abstract:
Chapter 7 synthesizes the analysis of the preceding chapters and makes recommendations on how States may establish NIAC detention review boards in the case of an extraterritorial NIAC. These recommendations are formulated as seven practical Guidelines to assist parties to a conflict in planning for or establishing extraterritorial NIAC review boards in compliance with IHL.
