Mobilising the power of collective action – ways forward

Anne Vorre Hansen, Clara Dawe and Anders Folmer Buhelt

Chapter 7 in The Power of Collective Action, 2026, pp 103-121 from Edward Elgar Publishing

Abstract: In this chapter, we summarise and point forward at the same time. We test the five social innovation maxims in four selected domains of Danish society: Education, Health, Business, and Nature and Climate. First, we give a short overview of some key conflicts and questions that are at stake in each domain, and then we show how, by thinking with the individual maxims, you can imagine new ways forward. It is also an invitation to take these ideas further. We round off the chapter by framing the conversation about creating society, to which we hope this book contributes.
