Abstract: First, let me express my sincere welcome to all of you for what I expect will be two days filled with the pleasures of exploration, learning, and respectful disagreement. I very much appreciate your attendance at what I hope will become a recurring event. Second, I would like to thank Franz Szabo, and all the others who have worked so hard to organize this symposium.
