Parameters influencing the choice of durability of a public infrastructure - a literature review

Edited by Lauriane Gorce

No 2017-02 in Rapports from Polytechnique Montreal, Groupe de recherche en Gestion et mondialisation de la technologie

Abstract: Public infrastructures projects are complex projects to manage as a lot of parameters and stakeholders are to be taken into account. It is always necessary to compromise. The aim of this report is to analyse what are the influences that impact on the final choice of durability of the infrastructure with regard to the design part of the project. Since they are not part of the design phase of the project, we will rapidly discuss the points of maintenance and real-life implementation since they can have a huge impact on the final durability of the infrastructure.
