Chapter 6 in Medium-Term Review 1997-2003, 1997, pp 105-150 from Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI)
Abstract:
This chapter sets out a detailed Central Forecast for the Irish Economy for the period to 2003. It is based on the set of assumptions, described in earlier chapters, concerning the external environment, domestic economic policy and basic demographic trends. It represents the authors' best assessment of the likely growth in economic activity over the next 6 years. Some indication is also given, albeit at a much more summary level, of how the economy might be expected to develop over the period to 2010.
