The future of community development
Paul Grogan
in Monograph from Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco
Abstract:
Grogan starts by stating that community development must focus on human development. To do this well, the field needs new tools and strategies, including geographically broadly-based intermediaries, local collaboration and pay for success model. Perhaps at least as important, it is essential to communities that the country get out of political gridlock, so as to preserve and enhance the capacity of government to invest in the future.
