Abstract:
Globalization is a reality, and a degree of its expansion and deapth of its penetration into the social layers and economic life are different in various parts of the world. This paper deals with global economy and changes that ocurre in international business. For that reason, it is necessary to focus on multinational and transnational companies, which are identidied as the drivers of the globalization process. Their global strategies, based on production centres stationed abroad, determine the relationships between contemporary economics, politics, society, cultural, and technological environment. The aim of this paper is to analyze the impact globalization has on transnational companies and their businesses, and to point out to the link between globalization and current world crisis.
