Incentives for Knowledge Management and Organisational Performance

Abstract: Knowledge management impacts organisational performance. It is related to technical systems and business and work processes in which employees as human beings are involved. The key objective of knowledge management is "doing what is needed to get most out of knowledge resources." In the paper we examine influences of organisational incentives on knowledge management and their joint influence on organisational performance. We also examine whether there are differences regarding knowledge management processes in organisations of different sizes, types and ages.
