Abstract: In the modern economy mutual cooperation is more beneficial for each organization than continuous competition. Currently, newer forms of cooperation and coopetition (cooperative competition) are being fashioned. One of these forms is inter-organizational relations, which will be discussed in detail in the article, in terms of acquiring sponsorship for a variety of academic initiatives. Organizations consistently recognize that a long-term competitive advantage in today's market can only be achieved through a structured relational capital. Therefore, the modern requirements of all interest groups on local, national or international markets focus their attention on creating different initiatives, both business and academic ones, with the cooperation of many individuals and organizations.
