Abstract:
The article is a report of predictive testing, conducted as part of the assessment of world's petroleum resources. One aspect of the depletion of oil resources and reduction of the supply of jet fuel is a systematic increase in the cost of air transport and the increased unavailability for most users of the transport. The study raises a number of proposals to mitigate crisis in air transport. The most important ones are discussed in this article and include the following areas: (1) non-renewable petroleum strategic resource, (2) air transport in the background of the global oil crisis, (3) easing of restrictions and the effects of oil crisis in the operation of air transport. The conclusions presented in the work could have implications for strategic decision-making in the use of air transport.
