An Ambiguous Relationship between Public Administration and AI

Abstract: This chapter is an attempt to present how artificial intelligence (AI) impacts public administration and the basic ethical challenges it brings to this environment. The introduction shows the main model of relation between public administration and AI and also gives the main questions that will guide all argumentations. The second section sets up the framework for further analysis and it explains the rudimental for the whole analysis term of public administration and AI. In the second section, the fields of the use of AI in public administration are shown, including the decision-making process and other forms of public services. The third is dedicated to ethical issues that are inextricably linked with administration and AI usage.
