Können neoklassische Ökonomen verstehen, was Globalisierungskritiker sagen?

Oliver Schmidt ()

Chapter 19 in List Forum Band 30, 2004, vol. 3, pp 290-303 from List Gesellschaft e.V.

Abstract: Globalization is the buzz-word of the current times. The ponits of view of globalization critics are mostly rejected by mainstream economists. But the theory of globalization the latter in mind does often exclude institutions, public goods and restrictions of the resource 'knowledge'. Thus, these (neoclassical) economists do not understand, what the concern of globalization critics is. In this paper, the 'paradigm of the locational competition', representing such an globalization theory, is criticised. Instead, elements of a more complex unterstanding of systems competition are exposed. (Original text only available in german language)
