Abstract:
Ethical aspects were not only in the past a welcomed background for intensive discussions and struggles in the field of world economic problems. The article describes the challenges of integrating ethics in the analysis of economic processes and figures out some implications of methodological issues connected with the use of traditional economic framework. Facing the overall development of secularisation it stresses te actual necessity of a living and communicative relation between economic action and normative foundations, which can be delighted in a retrospective view to the common cultural tradition of Europe as the origin of Occident. In this context the relevant dimensions for shaping adequate institutions not only extend to the fields of juriprudence or legislation. Therefore the author remembers on the obligation of economic and cultural institutions. This means translated in economic terms also working on a transaction cost minimal constellation in the society at the whole.(Original text only available in german language)
