Abstract: The significant increase in the number of stress-related diseases has resulted in a worldwide concentration of research by specialists from several fields of activity, regarding the regulation of prevention and reduction of perceived stress in the workplace. Being a contemporary organizational phenomenon, the breadth of literature and research that explores stress has grown considerably in recent years. Organizational stress is a term used more as an idiomatic expression, perhaps even “taboo” in Romania. But organizational stress is a topical issue, imperative to be considered in scientific research. Managers do not take it into account or avoid it systematically due to several factors, explored in the book. (The author)
