Abstract: A central theme in this research is the particular role of educators in engaging with parents in a genuine partnership built on mutual trust and respect with shared aspirations and responsibilities for student learning and wellbeing. This article will explore the process of preparing pre-service teachers to the forming positive partnerships with parents.
