Abstract:
The aim of this research paper was to inspect the impact that differing national/ cultural values inflict upon organizational climate and, subsequently, disclose the relevant implications. To achieve the aforementioned objectives, we examined the current situation of “Global Logistics” by utilizing the Hofstede national Values Survey Model (VSM), the Goffee & Jones Model for cultural types, and the Hay Group Model of organizational climate. The results of the study revealed that differing cultural values insert a significant pressure on the resulting climate of “Global Logistics”, which has eventually led to a negative-fragmented business culture, based on which we provide several recommendations.
