Abstract:
The paper presents a three-dimension model based on existing theories less used in service industries. Known for waste minimization, Lean was linked with Six Sigma in order to systematically reduce waste and process var-iation. The author proposes a model to aggregate Lean Six Sigma with Theory of Constraints in order to develop a more complex methodology and test it in less explored service industries, such as a Romanian cadaster firm. The results are promising, with positive implications for practitioners (looking for cost reduction and advanced meth-ods for process management) and theorists interested in deep-ening the research in the above areas.
