Abstract:
The paper examines possibilities of using facilities of an industrial design studio to educate youth in creative digital skills, and to give them space and opportunity for staring their first projects. The development of the Serbian IT sector is facilitating demand for creative work inside that sector, with consideration to the increasing awareness that if a product equally meets practical and emotional needs, its value rises exponentially. The program would aim to address the countrie’s lack of effort regarding culture and art education, in such a way as to introduce children to professions that contribute to the long-term development of local communities.
