Abstract: As companies increase in scale and scope, the ability to communicate effectively across organizational units tends to decrease, especially when in an international context. This book provides illustrations of how one company faced and overcame its knowledge sharing difficulties as it grew internationally. The descriptive accounts of the company’s difficulties and the methodology employed to overcome them lend themselves to managers and practitioners of any international company that is experiencing knowledge sharing complications across its units as a result of inter-organizational growth. While no singular solution is always right, the book provides a well rounded explanation of the key issues managers must be aware of in their attempts at sharing knowledge successfully across varying cultures.
