Abstract: The monograph deals with outsourcing from the point of view of Slovenian enterprises, which accept outsourced activities from strong foreign enterprises. Three research activities - pilot, quantitative and central qualitative - have revealed that Slovenian enterprises frequently enter outsourcing relationships without adequate strategic, long-term audits which, consequently, represent a considerable amount of risk for them. The book deals with outsourcing as a form of control within the dimension ranging from marketplace to hierarchy. In addition, different forms are discussed and a number of strategic audits on which managerial decisions about entering outsourcing relationships or other forms of company control and alliances are based.
