Abstract:
Nowadays there’s ever increasing demand on organizations and their management to invest in their employees and their development. However, quite often the investments in training considerably outweighs the training benefits and company level effects. In the manuscript we outline the reasons behind the need to measure (monitor) the knowledge transfer and present most commonly used methods for knowledge transfer measurement (monitoring), whereby the focus is set on Kikrkpatrick’s and Holton’s model. In conclusion, the hr practitioners will be presented with key decision making issues when deciding which model to use.
