Die Metallverkehrsgesetze von 1923, vol 21
Laura Gorges
in Rechtsordnung und Wirtschaftsgeschichte from Mohr Siebeck, Tübingen, currently edited by Albrecht Ritschl, Mathias Schmoeckel, Frank Schorkopf and Günther Schulz
Abstract:
Hyperinflation in the early days of the Weimar Republic meant that material assets of stable value readily drew the attention of thieves and the receivers of stolen goods. Laura Gorges's interdisciplinary study digs deep into the background of two unusual crisis laws that were introduced back then to protect valuable metals and are still influential today.
