Theoretical Framework

Sara Hsu

Chapter 1 in Lessons in Sustainable Development from China & Taiwan, 2013, pp 4-7 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The field of sustainable development is relatively new, but some of the ideas—that environment, individuals, and society should be protected—are not. These have been incorporated into several strains of theoretical approaches on the subject. In this chapter, we discuss these approaches and draw out our own theoretical approach to the subject.
