A BIG Future
Mark Walker
Chapter Chapter 8 in Free Money for All, 2016, pp 177-210 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter responds to some doubts about BIG and looks to the future of political economy. The first objection we will consider is that a rights-based defense of BIG is superior to the consequentialist reasoning for BIG. We will then turn to the charge that BIG encourages parasitism. Along the way we will look to the future of political economy and see that BIG is only a transitory phase as capitalism limps to its death.
