Abstract: Abstract The afterword draws the attention to the potential for cross-fertilization between social and solidarity economy and feminism. It first points out some important reasons that have so far limited this potential, such as the mutual ignorance between the social economy and the social movements, including the feminist one; the focus of certain feminist trends on differences and identities more than on economic issues; and the persistence of a mostly productivist imaginary in social and solidarity economy. Moving beyond these limits calls for a new dialogue between the Global South and North and for a broadening of the understanding of the economy—beyond the market and the capitalist sphere—and of the political—beyond the sphere of the state and public authorities.
