Chapter Chapter 7 in Women Entrepreneurs and Business Empowerment in Muslim Countries, 2022, pp 245-258 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The concluding chapter emphasises that Muslim mompreneurs are disseminating a new message that a good Muslim woman as wife and mother requires more than just raising a harmonious family. Their activities of contributing to the community are an important part of their gender role. Following the wives of the Prophet Muhammad as their role models, women intend to embody a form of propagation by action. This is an effective local strategy to foster gender equality and negotiate patriarchy within the framework of Islam. Their quiet challenge enables men to side with this important social transformation to build an inclusive society.
