Chapter 12 in Economic Development in South Asia, 1970, pp 213-224 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The problem of the choice of techniques in development planning has been discussed in the literature so extensively that it is difficult to add anything significant. In what follows I shall attempt to review briefly the major aspects of the problem that have justifiably received attention in the literature and discuss one important aspect — uncertainty about the future — that has not received the attention it deserves.
