Chapter 7 in Transport and the Urban Environment, 1974, pp 192-222 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This paper is part of a continuing research project on the determinants of urban structure. By urban structure I mean a description of the kinds and amounts of goods and services produced in various parts of the urban area, the factor proportions with which they are produced and the ways that the transportation system links urban activities together.
