Long-term Projections of Household Consumption in France
G. Vangrevelinghe
Chapter 18 in Methods of Long-term Planning and Forecasting, 1976, pp 382-395 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract It has long been trite to emphasise the importance of consumption in economic development. Consumption has been continually growing for more than twenty years under the influence of important needs that have not been met. The pressure of the resulting aggregate demand has been an essential condition for the continuing growth of production and for changes in the productive system.
